My stay at the Royal Station Hotel had its highs and lows. The grandeur of the Victorian architecture and the warm, attentive staff made me feel welcomed. However, I encountered significant issues with the hot water during my stay, which cast a shadow over my experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was compact and clean, but it definitely showed its age and was in need of some TLC. I felt the space was limited, and the bed felt small. There were a few cleanliness issues as well, which was disappointing.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay, and they certainly enhanced the experience. However, I did notice that breakfast service was less efficient due to long queues, which felt somewhat disorganized.
Location
8.0
The hotel’s location is undoubtedly a strong point. Being right next to the train station made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city without the need for taxis or public transport.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a buffet-style full English that was quite satisfying. However, the wait to be seated was frustrating. I appreciated the quality of the food, but the long wait times could be improved.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel did have some leisure facilities, such as a swimming pool, I found that the Wi-Fi was quite unstable during my visit, which was a letdown. A more stable internet connection would have made my stay much easier.

I recently enjoyed a two-night stay at the Royal Station Hotel. The historical ambiance was striking, along with the clean and spacious superior room I got. However, the breakfast area felt a bit cramped during peak times, and I encountered some noise from the nearby station. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would return.

I had a lovely stay at Royal Station Hotel, enjoying the grand ambiance and friendly staff. though there were a few hiccups during my visit. The location is perfect for accessing the train station, and the room was clean and well-furnished, contributing to a pleasant experience. However, I did encounter a plumbing issue that needed quick attention.

My room was nicely furnished and clean, though a bit on the small side and facing the railway. The comfort was notable, but a wider bed would have improved my sleep. still, the amenities provided were appreciable.
Service

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, consistently striving to enhance my stay. However, during a busy dinner service, we felt neglected as the limited staff had difficulty keeping up with the rush.
Location

You genuinely can't beat the location. right next to the train station and a short walk from city attractions. It was convenient for my plans, making it easy to get around Newcastle.
Dining

I enjoyed breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious. the evening service fell short during peak hours, making it a bit disappointing after an otherwise good dining experience.
